Summer breeze, makes me feel fine

Tomorrow is my last day of school!!! For three weeks. Then it's back to school all summer. The idea of bing in school and having homework during the summer is foreign and somewhat unappealing to me, but as long as I can do the following things I will be happy... (this post is the result of a) me having not posted in a while due to school work, b) me getting all excited about summer because it is sunny out and c) me getting all nostalgic and looking through old photos. Enjoy!)

Watching my friends play baseball has sort of become a summer staple. And who knows, maybe this summer I will attempt to actually play. But let's not get too carried away.

Sometimes I also watch professionals play baseball. These are my brothers at a Blue jays game. This was last September, but yes, Dylan does wear beanies all year round (do we call that a beanie, or a tuque... I should know this.)

Dropping all responsibilities and driving to Caledon to swim in pools... Anna, can we do this again?

Photobucket
When Caledon is not an option and you are in the middle of a heat wave, pool hopping will suffice. Just remember to practice safe fence hopping, or else you may find yourself unable to walk for the last month of your summer.

I went to gay pride for the first time last summer and I will definitely go again. The outfits (or lack there of) are fun to look at and the whole vibe is amazing.

Falling asleep on a blanket in the sun on Canada day, while surrounded by all your best friends. That's what summer is all about.

Photobucket
Cottaging with the family. This is my mom and her twin sister, aren't they cute!

Photobucket
Listening to live music at bellwoods park.

And lastly Osheaga music festival (yes that is me with Jade from Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros!!!) I also anticipate bringing a camera and doing some music festival style posts so stay tuned for that.

I also can't wait to buy some new clothes for summer.. if I can afford it while not working during the summer for the first time since grade 9. But I will make it work. Now the weather just needs to catch up with my summer excitement. C'mon 25 degrees and sunny!
